Your Impact:
In this dynamic role, you will be pivotal in operating various mobile equipment at our wood pellet manufacturing facility, including log cranes and chippers. You will take an active part in maintaining equipment and providing administrative support for Wood Yard operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain key equipment such as log cranes, wheel loaders, knucklebooms, skid steers, and man lifts.
• Cross-train on all relevant heavy equipment operations as needed.
• Proactively identify and diagnose equipment issues; perform routine and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain administrative functions, including inventory checks and production reporting using checklists.
• Execute housekeeping duties and ensure designated areas remain clean and free from safety hazards.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in wood/fiber procurement or the forest industry is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience operating industrial equipment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills for tasks such as email communication and documentation review.
