Koch Methanol St James is seeking a motivated Reliability Engineer to join the Reliability team. This role creates value by ensuring the reliability, integrity, and safety of all assets in our facility.

What You Will Do

• Lead root cause analyses for high-impact equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze reliability metrics to identify issues.
• Develop and implement reliability programs to mitigate equipment threats.
• Support maintenance planning for critical assets.
• Conduct fitness-for-service and risk-based inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support capital projects related to fixed equipment, including scope development and design review.
• Participate in cross-site technical teams to keep practices industry-competitive.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to resolve equipment challenges.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field, or 3+ years reliability engineering experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to wear PPE and climb up to 150 ft occasionally.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with steam turbines and relevant certifications (API series).
• Knowledge of reliability software, inspection techniques, and industry standards.
• Experience in reliability engineering within industrial manufacturing.
