The Amine Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of amine treating units used in natural gas processing. This role involves monitoring and controlling equipment to remove hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2) from natural gas streams using amine-based systems. The operator ensures compliance with environmental and safety standards while maintaining optimal system performance and minimizing downtime. Responsibilities Operate and monitor amine treating systems and associated equipment (e.g., contactors, regenerators, pumps, filters)Perform regular sampling and testing of amine solution for strength, contamination, and degradation. Adjust process parameters to maintain efficient removal of H2S and CO2Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor troubleshooting of equipment.
